About the Recipe
I've done this with oranges, lemon, lime, grapefruit or try things like pine or lavender. You can use straight for a strong cleaner or fabric softener or dilute in a ratio of 1:1 with water. You can add by the tablespoon to your mop bucket for floors, pour it into a spray bottle for cleaning or into your fabric softener compartment in your washing machine.

You can add by the tablespoon to your mop bucket for floors, pour it into a spray bottle for cleaning or into your fabric softener compartment in your washing machine. You can also make dryer sheets by soaking fabric into the solution, wringing them out and tossing them into the dryer.
Preparation
Boil Vinegar in a regular sauce pan on the stove. While it's coming to a boil, put the peels in a glass jar. Once the vinegar is boiling, pour the hot vinegar over the peels and put the lid on your jar, lett it cool and sit for at least 24 hours to infuse Once it's cooled and infused, you can strain out the peels and use the jar or transfer to a spray bottle for cleaning.
For a slower infusion, pour room temperature vinegar over peels and let sit for at least 2 weeks to 3 months to infuse.
